It seems that French President Nicolas Sarkozy worked for Israeli intelligence for some time before he became French president in 2007.

French daily Le Figaro has revealed that the French leader once worked for the Zionist regime as a sayan, Hebrew for "collaborator", a Sayan being a Jewish citizen of another country assisting Mossad in special missions.

Le Figaro claimed that French police officials managed to keep secret a letter, which exposed Sarkozy's past participation in secret activities for Mossad, but it seems that many journalists were aware of this fact but never made it public.

French judiciary police is now investigating documents about the French President Nicolas Sarkozy's spy activities for Israel's Mossad, Le Figaro daily reported.

According to the newspaper, former Israel prime minister Menachem Begin wanted political activists in countries all over the world to cooperate with the Zionist regime for spy missions and Nicolas Sarkozy was one of the citizens who started its cooperation with Mossad in 1983 as the fourth French member of Mossad.

It's true that since Sarkozy became French President in May 2007 he has taken every opportunity to pledge his allegiance to the United States and Israel.
